My name is Matt Taylor, I'm an illustrator and I live by the sea. I like drawing pictures for money, riding my bike, walking on the beach, appreciating comic books and rummaging through thrift stores for old photos. This blog is for works in progress, assorted drawings that don't have a home yet and things which don't quite fit in my folio. Speaking of which, you can see my full blown folio by directing your website towards www.matttaylor.co.uk
For the new season of ESPN’s Capitales del Fútbol I was asked by the friendly folk over at Brooklyn based WSDIA alongside a host of other artists to design a poster to accompany one of the cities featured in the new series.
It’s no secret that I have a healthy interest in Mexican history, culture and art, so being offered Mexico City and capturing its spirit in print was pretty much a dream job for me.
You can see all the posters released so far over on the Capitales del Futbol Facebook page - check them out, they’re pretty fancy.
Fútbol, Matt Taylor
