My name is Matt Taylor, I'm an illustrator and I live by the sea. I like drawing pictures for money, riding my bike, walking on the beach, appreciating comic books and rummaging through thrift stores for old photos. This blog is for works in progress, assorted drawings that don't have a home yet and things which don't quite fit in my folio. Speaking of which, you can see my full blown folio by directing your website towards www.matttaylor.co.uk
One of the more interesting aspects of having a proper, honest-to-god 9-5 job (with these awesome guys) is that I find myself being way more selective with what freelance projects I take on.
My current criteria tends to be: is it something that interests me, or: is this going to be fun to draw. This managed to meet both - who doesn’t dig racing cars and psychedelic clouds? This was done for the fine folk over at Sport Magazine and is just in time for the start of the F1 season on Sunday.
Also, to new followers who have noticed I don’t post all that much, for a change there is more to come over the next few weeks - a few new prints for shows to share and a picture of one of the coolest men in the world next world…
